Canadian farmland values have risen over 300% in two decades. Institutional investors — REITs, pension funds, and foreign capital — are purchasing arable land at a pace no young farmer can match.
The average age of a Canadian farmer is now 56. The next generation has the skill. They don't have the land. Every year that passes, consolidation compounds. Everground exists to stop it.

We hold it in trust and grant long-term, affordable access agreements to young farmers and food producers — so they can build a practice, a livelihood, and a future on land that will never be sold out from under them.

Young farmers and food producers apply for long-term land access agreements.
When a term ends, the land passes to the next farmer. It never gets sold.
